In light of new COVID mitigation measures mandated by the Yellowstone County Health Officer, we have made the decision to postpone Night Under The Lights 3-on-3 basketball tournament that was scheduled for this Friday and Saturday (October 16-17).
We recently announced the Turkey Shootout tournament for middle schoolers scheduled for November 21. That tournament will be cancelled, with hope that Night Under The Lights can be rescheduled for that date (assuming COVID restrictions are lifted).
If you registered for Night Under The Lights, you have 3 options:
- Option 1: Roll your registration from the October tournament to the rescheduled date of November 21. If restrictions are not lifted by that date, you are still eligible for a full refund.
- Option 2: Donate some or part of your registration to Big Sky Ballin’. We have suffered cancellations and related losses that significantly impact our ability to keep providing sports events to the community. Note that contributions are not tax deductible.
- Option 3: Receive a full refund of your registration fee for Night Under The Lights. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
The specific restriction affecting this tournament is based on the Health Officer Order issued October 12, 2020. The relevant portion reads as follows:
“Except as otherwise indicated below, all group physical gatherings, including but not limited to all businesses, organizations, and private gatherings shall be limited to no more than 25 individuals, regardless of the ability to physically distance or location. This restriction applies to both indoor and outdoor events.”
We appreciate your support in these trying times and can’t wait to get back to “normal”!
